Providence Teachers Union Recommends…

The Providence Teachers Union has released their recommendations for the Providence schools. This comes after president Maribeth Calabro tried to visit two difference Providence schools and was turned away.

Calabro had gone to one school after hearing reports that mice had been eating the summer lunch program food. And then she went to Hope High School to see what progress had been made after it had so much focus in the news over the past several weeks.

Note: Frances Gallo starts tomorrow as interim superintendent of Providence schools. "I’m going to turn the place upside down," she said, according to reports by the Providence Journal. Gallo has also announced that today she will tour 3 pre-selected schools, with some media in attendance, so look for more on this developing story.
