Tuesday afternoon at the rise of the Senate there will be a vote on the Reproductive Privacy Act bill in the Senate Judiciary Committee.

After months of debate, the abortion bill will have a vote in the Senate committee. The Senate version had died in the Senate Judiciary Committee in May but the House version was held for further study.

Now, an amended House version is rumored to be likely to pass on Tuesday afternoon in Senate Judiciary and headed for the Senate floor.

The amended version of the House bill could hit the Senate floor this week. If it passes the Senate, it will then go back to the House Chamber for another vote.

The new version has not been revealed yet but it is believed to be a compromised version.
