Jeannie’s Wedding Cookies, aka “Snowballs”

These cookies are fabulous! In summer they are popular at weddings. And for holidays, they are called “Snowballs”. You can’t eat just one.

Wedding Cookies or Snowballs

2/3 cup of butter

1 cup of ground walnuts

1 cup of double sifted flour

3 tablespoons of sugar

1 teaspoon of vanilla


Confectionery sugar AKA 10 x for rolling


Cream the butter and the sugar add the walnuts and the flower and the teaspoon of vanilla.

Roll into 1 inch balls. Place on your baking sheet giving some room in between.

Bake at 375 until the bottoms are slightly golden.

Cool them well. Then roll in confectioners sugar.
