You go, girl! An amazing log of events detailed by Gina Sabitoni-Arakelian on Facebook

From the post of Gina Sabitoni-Arakelian:

“I needed to post because I set some goals, worked really hard, achieved what I set out to do and most of all, I ALWAYS tell my kids...hard work and determination always will bring success... Never Give Up....

May 4, 2019, I lifted in the EPF National Championships... I won 1st place in the Masters Division, the Open Division and Won Best Lifter Overall Woman's Division. I never dreamed of becoming a Powerlifter Champ, but I started lifting at the age of 50 while preparing for Mrs. America 2016 in Las Vegas, and I found that I loved Powerlifting. It was challenging, motivating, tiring, a head game, therapy....and most of all, it was inspiring because I found that age ain't nothing but a number, and G=girls can lift just as well as the guys…and, sometimes, even better.

I have to give a big thank you to my trainer, George A Lazzareschi Jr., 5X World Champ Powerlifter for recognizing my strengths and believing in me to achieve the accomplishments I have made in the sport of Powerlifting. Much love to the big dog from the li’l dog...Team DoGG! Stay Strong...
