The New England First Amendment Coalition will present its ongoing community conversation, “The First Amendment and the Free Press,” from 7 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. on April 29 at the Rochambeau Library, 708 Hope Street, Providence

For this event the featured speaker will be Gregory V. Sullivan, Mr. Sullivan has served as general counsel for the Union Leader Corporation for the past 42 years. He teaches First Amendment Media Law at Suffolk University Law School in Boston and at the Nackey S. Loeb School of Communications in Manchester, N.H.

The New England First Amendment Coalition offers discussions on journalism and the First Amendment as part of its Featured Speaker Program, launched in January 2018 to help increase First Amendment education in high schools, college classrooms and community centers.
